Newkinco is a venture builder/consultancy and lab that helps organizations to understand community-based innovation like web3 and the metaverse. We are experts in exploring new forms of digital equity and tokenizing emerging business models. Our team consists of experts from multiple disciplines, from game designer, software developer to Crypto and Web3 enthusiasts. As a remote-first company, we are looking for freelance collaborators worldwide. We are looking for autonomous, proactive and reliable people to work with a growing remote tech team focused on quality.

Responsibilities:

‍

  • Form an integrated Design Culture for our business and drive the transformation to the next level
  • Lead our Design/UX teams across all projects, mostly integrated cross-functionally into our agile teams worldwide
  • Raise the bar in all our Design/UX efforts and strongly align them to achieve our product and business goals
  • Develop a “north star” for the organization as an ongoing process of refinement and evolution
  • Manage to build a new design system as an integral part of our branding
  • Help the team to grow personally and professionally by being a strong mentor
  • Support our sales teams to help our customers to understand their business 
  • Align and coordinate with the brand function in our Marketing team and support an integral approach

Qualifications:

‍

  • You have at least 5 years of experience in leading design/UX teams
  • You have a high level of creativity and initiative
  • A strong portfolio of previous work and completed projects
  • Ability to work with a cross-functional, geographically dispersed, and customer-base team
  • Extensive experience in UX, Product Design, and/or Interaction Design
  • You have confidence in articulating your decisions, the ability to explain your ideas clearly and build trust with stakeholders in English and German
  • You have a process- and data-driven mindset and believe that a transparent, reliable process is part of the key to great Design/UX work
  • A broad understanding of topics like Design System, UX Research and Design Methods
  • Great communication and teamwork skills
